    SCOPE

The primary aim of the `Performance Tools' conference series is to further the theory and technology for tool-based performance evaluation of computer and communication systems, including high-performance, parallel and distributed systems. Important themes for the 12th of this successful conference series include (but are not restricted to):

    • software tools for system performance and evaluation
    • simulation techniques
    • analytical modelling techniques
    • optimisation
    • performance monitoring/measurement
    • stochastic process algebra modelling
    • stochastic petri net modelling
    • other formal performance methodologies
    • parallel and distributed performance modelling techniques
    • case studies showing the role of evaluation in the design of systems
    • applications including high speed networking, mobile communication and the internet
    INVITED SPEAKERS

We have two invited speakers, this year. We are pleased to have:

    • Professor Onno Boxma, Eindhoven University of Technology
    • Peter Key, Microsoft Research
